The Port Moody Community Band is back for it's second revived season this September and we are looking for new members! Dust off your clarinet, oil up your trumpet valves, and register today! Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00PM at Port Moody Secondary School 300 Albert Street. All ages are welcome, 5 years of playing experience is strongly recommended and you should be comfortable playing at a high school honour band level (Gr3-4). See our ensemble page for more details! |

Founded by Gord Hembruff in 1997, the Port Moody Community Music Society governed both the Port Moody Community Band and the Inlet Jazz Band as a place for the community to play music in a concert band and big band setting until 2020.
Today, the Port Moody Community Band continues to operate out of Port Moody Secondary School and is governed by the Port Moody Community Music Society, a registered non-profit association designed to promote community music in Port Moody and support the Port Moody Secondary School music program. All proceeds support the operation of the PMCB and the PMSS Music Program. |
